Parks Victoria Board
The Board is responsible for directing and monitoring the business of Parks Victoria and is accountable to the Minister for its overall performance. It delegates day-to-day responsibility for operations and administration to Parks Victoria’s Chief Executive and executive team.
The Board also consists of the following committees and subcommittees:

Jeff Floyd (Chair)
Jeff Floyd is an Adjunct Professor in the College of Business at Victoria University. He runs a successful consulting business in the areas of strategy, governance, risk management and issue management. Jeff has had an extensive career as a CEO in areas including planning, park and environmental management, tourism, and automotive services. His previous roles include CEO of Tourism Victoria and CEO of Parks Victoria. He has also held roles on a large number of boards, including a Director of the Co-Operative Research Centre in Sustainable Tourism and Chair of Phillip Island Nature Parks.
John currently holds the positions of Chair of Destination Phillip Island Regional Tourism Board, Chair of the Victoria Government’s Visitor Economy Ministerial Advisory Committee and Deputy Chair of William Angliss Institute Australia's specialist Food, Tourism, Hospitality and Events educator. John is Victoria’s longest continuous serving Tourism, Major Events and Gaming Minister with 28 years’ experience in Public Policy, Government and Governance at International, National, State and Local Government level. He is a former Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Racing, Major Projects and Employment and a former Member of the ‘Cleanevent’ Advisory Board, one of Australia’s largest events businesses at the time. He was a local Councillor and Mayor of the then City of Berwick and Executive of the Municipal Association of Victoria. He was also the former Chair and Deputy Chair of the Victorian Parliament Environment and Natural Resources Committee.
Ms Helen Weston is the Chair of the Working Heritage Inc Committee of Management, which conserves heritage properties located on public land for community and commercial use. She has also been a director of an environmental planning firm for the past 25 years and is a Fellow of the Planning Institute of Australia, a Certified Practising Planner, and a member of the Environment Institute of Australia.
Annette is an Aboriginal woman from Gunditjmara, in Western Victoria, and lives and works with pride and respect on the land of the people of the Kulin nations. She has extensive experience in the public and private sector, community and stakeholder engagement, organisational capability and capacity building and change management. She is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Annette is signatory to the Aboriginal Justice Agreement 4 and an ambassador for the Ngaga-dji (Hear Me) report produced by the Koori Youth Council. Annette is the chairperson of the Western Metropolitan Regional Aboriginal Justice Advisory Committee and has an active interest in social justice and human rights.
Ms Lisa Marty is a Co-chair and Trustee Director of First Super, the industry superannuation fund for the timber, pulp and paper, furniture and joinery industries and was the CEO of the Victorian Association of Forest Industries from 2012 to 2014. She is also a director of Skills Impact, a national skills services organisation which supports industry references committees to develop industry competency skills standards and qualifications for use by industry and the VET sector.
Mr Graham Atkinson is a Board Member of the Federation of Victorian Traditional Owners Corporation and Chair of Barpa Pty Ltd, a joint construction venture. He is the Chairperson of the Dhelkunya Dja Land Management Board, a former Chair of the Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation and is also a director of Djandak Enterprises, which is a subsidiary of Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation. He is also a Board Member of the Judicial Commission of Victoria, a Board Member of the North Central Catchment Management Authority (NCCMA), and a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the NCCMA. He is a director of a social research consulting group, Atkinson Consulting Group.
Kate is an experienced non-executive director who brings energy, intellectual rigour and deep executive and board experience to her roles. She held Executive general management/CEO positions in private and public sector businesses for seventeen years. Her line-management responsibilities included strategy, business systems, risk management, planning, business continuity, implementing change, asset management, engineering, policy development, environment, safety, smart city initiatives, sustainability, R&D and innovation. As a non-executive director and consultant, Kate draws on this background to assist organisations to develop and execute their strategic intent, improve business processes, and understand and influence market changes. Kate is a Rhodes Scholar. She was a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards (2004) and is an alumni of the Williamson Community Leadership Program (2008). In 2010, Kate was made a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia for her career contribution to sustainability.
Mrs Chris Trotman is the Chief Executive Officer of a rural health service in Gippsland and lives on a beef farm in South Gippsland. She has held executive roles in health, disability services and education and holds qualifications in governance, accounting and business management. Chris has extensive experience serving on a range of Boards and committees in the not for profit sector and is Chair of the Lower Yarra River Management Advisory Committee.
