Lake Tyers State Park Camping and Access Strategy

Thursday 23 July, 2020

Parks Victoria and Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation (GLaWAC) are seeking final input into the Lake Tyers State Park Camping and Access Strategy following two years of extensive stakeholder and community engagement.
The Lake Tyers State Park Camping and Access Strategy consultation period has provided both Parks Victoria and GLaWAC with valuable insights into the current usage patterns and the desired future direction for park visitation.
The strategy is focusing on three key components being day visitation and camping sites; vehicle and boating access, fishing and walking tracks.  It also identifies current facilities offered and considerations for future improvements while prioritising protection of the cultural and environmental values of the park.
Parks Victoria and GLaWAC welcome further community input into the Lake Tyers Camping and Access strategy by visiting the Victorian Government’s Engage Victoria Website.
