Accessibility

Visiting a park can be more of a challenge for people with disabilities, however, in Victoria there are a wide range of facilities to help people of all abilities enjoy our wonderful parks around the state. Parks Victoria provides a range of a equipment, including all-terrain and beach wheelchairs, facilities, accommodation and accessibility information and programs to help you plan and enjoy your visit to Victoria's parks.

Assistance dogs are welcome in Parks Victoria parks and reserves. Entry requirements apply for parks and reserves that are usually dog prohibited, such as national parks.

  • Crossover Regional Park

    Closure of Pilgrim Creek Road to vehicles

    Good afternoon,
     
    Please be aware that new gates have been installed on Pilgrim Creek Road which is an access point into Crossover Regional Park. 
    The gates are the result of a joint project between the Rokeby & Crossover Friends Group, Baw Baw Shire Council, Parks Victoria and DELWP. The gates will prevent vehicular access to a section of Pilgrim Ck Track with the aim of improving safety for recreational users and reduce the incidence of illegal activity such as firewood removal and the dumping of rubbish. This section of Pilgrim Creek Track is now classed as Management Vehicle Only (MVO) access and the gates will be permanently closed on 15th October 2021. If you require vehicular access to the closed section of track please contact Park’s Victoria at info@parks.vic.gov.au or call 13 19 63 to discuss your requirements.
    Currently the Parks Victoria Crossover Regional Park website page has almost no local information, but a change of conditions notification should be added.
