Change of Conditions

Nature being nature, sometimes conditions can change at short notice. It’s a good idea to check this page ahead of your visit for any updates.

Seasonal road closures 2021

Some roads in this park are subject to seasonal road closures. Seasonal road closures generally operate after the long weekend in June through to the end of October, but may be extended due to seasonal conditions. Visit the seasonal road closures page for maps and more information.

Park Closures Due to flooding

Above average rainfall in the the Ovens and Upper  Murray  catchment's has resulted in  increased the releases  of water from the Yarrawonga and Hume Weir's  resulting in flooding that will impact sections of the  Proposed Murray River Park from Albury  to Tocumwal.
Tracks will become impassable and river beaches will become inundated resulting in a requirement to  close parks for public safety.
