The area is developed for hang gliders to launch over the coastal escarpment with landing opportunities on Flinders Ocean Beach. Recommended for experienced hang gliders only. Always check conditions before launching.
Basic toilet facilities are located at the Flinders Ocean Beach Rd Carpark, to the east of the launch site.

Dogs are prohibited from entering Mornington Peninsula National Park. If pets are suspected of having consumed a PAPP bait during the baiting period, a vet should be consulted immediately. An antidote to PAPP (methylene blue) is available and stocked by most vets on the Mornington Peninsula.
