Jells Lake Track Closure

A section of trail behind Jells Park Lake has been permanently closed for revegetation.  The main path behind the lake is still accessible.

Shepherds Bush track closure

Shepherds bush boardwalk has been closed to the public due to safety concerns from the recent floods in October 2022

Koomba Park Boardwalk Closure

The Koomba Park Boardwalk will be closed until further notice.

Jells Lake Jetty Closures

Jetty 1 & Jetty 2 will be closed until further notice.

Toilet block closure during Urban Parks Active Wellbeing upgrades

The toilet block at the Ashes Picnic Ground, in the southern area of Jells Park, is being replaced. During this time, temporary toilets will be available. Visitors are also able to use the existing toilets near Madeline’s Café.
 
These works are expected to be completed by October 2023, subject to on-ground and construction industry conditions.

Koomba Park Bird Hide Boardwalk

The bird hide boardwalk in Koomba Park will be closed while necessary maintenance works are completed.

Jells South BBQ Closure

BBQ's in Jells South (Oaks and Ashes Picnic areas) are currently out of order.

BBQ use in Jells Park

Please note, no solid fuel BBQs are permitted in Jells Park (solid fuel includes coal or wood fuelled BBQs).

There are publicly available electric BBQs located at Jells Park in the following locations:
- Stringybark Picnic Ground
- Pines Picnic Area
- Playscape Area 
- Jells South Picnic Area (in both the Ashes Picnic Ground and Oaks Picnic Ground)

These electric public BBQs are free to use and available at a first in first served basis.
Visitors may also bring their own portable gas fuelled BBQs into Jells Park. 

Shepherds Bush Track closure

Shepherds Bush boardwalk has been closed to the public due to floods in 2022.
