Start this strenuous 12km return walk from Stapylton Campground. The Mount Stapylton loop walk gradually climbs through open forest then quickly turns into a strenuous scramble over rocky outcrops and ramps as you reach the summit. Take in the iconic Grampians vistas before looping back past water-etched rock terraces.

Grand Canyon Staircase Closure

A steel staircase located at the south-eastern exit of the Grand Canyon is closed due to an engineering issue. The Grand Canyon remains open as a return walk from the Wonderland Carpark. The Pinnacle walk remains open via the canyon bypass walking track.
