Patterson River shared path works - section closure of Dandenong Creek Trail

From 4 March to 15 April 2024, a 1km section of the Dandenong Creek Trail will be closed to allow works to widen a section of the trail to 4m. The trail closure will likely be in place over Easter and the Autumn School Holidays. Once complete, the wider trail will be safer for shared use of pedestrians and cyclists.

A detour is in place via Lakeview Shopping Centre, adding approximately 650m to the journey. Access points to the trail are open at Gladesville Boulevard, Pier One Drive and Dahmen Street. No access to the trail will be available via Marine Drive during construction. For further information, contact or visit Community Infrastructure Accessibility and Sustainability Program (
