Perfect Cure Creek Nature Trail (Lake Eildon National Park)

Embark on a scenic stroll through open woodland on the Perfect Cure Creek Nature Trail. Keep an eye out for grazing kangaroos and wallabies. Learn about the park's gold rush history from interpretative signs along the way, and look out for remnants of this bygone era and local wildlife. The 1.5km Grade 2 circuit starts from the Perfect Cure carpark and takes about one hour.

Visitor Tips: Ensure your car is locked and your valuables are out of sight. Carry sufficient water to stay hydrated.

Candlebark Nature Trail Closure

Candlebark Nature Trail is currently closed due to a bridge being washed out.

TARGA Road Closures Sunday 12 February (Lake Eildon National Park)

Skyline Road and UT Creek Road, which provide access to Lake Eildon National Park,  will be CLOSED between 9:15am and 4:07pm on Sunday 12 February 2023, for the TARGA High Country motor-sport competition.

Visitors planning to enter or exit the park on Sunday 12 February must COMPLETE their journey through Skyline Road (Eildon direction), or UT Creek Road (Alexandra direction) before 9:15am or after 4:07pm.

Entry or exit from the park will not be possible while TARGA road closures are in place.
