Telegraph Saddle to Tidal River, via Oberon Bay Walk (Wilsons Promontory Marine National Park, Southern Wilsons Promontory Remote and Natural Area, Wilsons Promontory Marine Park, Wilsons Promontory National Park)

Beginning from Telegraph Saddle Carpark the track descends through eucalypt forest before linking with the Oberon Bay track at Telegraph Junction. Winding through coastal tea-tree, the sandy track leads to the expansive Oberon Bay.

Head north, along the beach where the trail continues along rocky headlands to the white shores of Little Oberon Bay before arriving at Tidal River.

This Grade 4 track has steep sections and uneven surfaces and is 17.1 km, 5.5 hours one way.

Camping at Oberon Bay is permitted, advanced booking is required. Toilets are located at Telegraph Saddle Carpark and Oberon Bay Camp. Untreated tank water is available at Oberon Bay Camping Area. Water supply is not guaranteed.

Ensure you carry enough drinking water for your walk. Beware of unprotected cliffs.
