Nature being nature, sometimes conditions can change at short notice. It’s a good idea to check this page ahead of your visit for any updates.

Reservoir Road closed to vehicles

Reservoir Road is closed to vehicles due to the recent heavy rain, damage and ongoing wet conditions of the track. The track remains open to hikers and cyclists.

For overnight hikers walking into the Rocky Creek and Mt McLeod Camping Areas, overnight parking is at the junction of Reservoir Road and Mount Buffalo Road, near the Vic Roads building. The closure of Reservoir Road adds an additional 3.2kms to the walk to both camping areas.
