The Swan Street Bridge to Morell Bridge section of the Yarra boasts stunning views back towards Melbourne’s skyline, barbecues perfect for gatherings and is the home of the iconic Moomba Festival. A number of jetties offer ample of opportunities to berth and the Capital City Trail meanders along the southern bank of the Yarra River.

Shallow Waters - River Channel Downstream of Charles Grimes Bridge

The channel immediately downstream of Charles Grimes Bridge in the vicinity of Yarra's Edge Marina has reduced water depth as a result of sediment build up. Minimum depth at low tide may be less than 2m. Large vessels should navigate the area with caution.
