Asset Regeneration Program

Parks Victoria continuously maintains over 50,000 assets annually across its estate.

The Asset Regeneration Program is a $24.76 million investment by the Victorian Government to remove unsafe infrastructure and to repair or replace assets across the Parks Victoria estate.

Infrastructure included in this project include boardwalks, bridges, lookouts, shelters and playgrounds.

For efficient action on these assets, several packages of works will be tendered. Visitors will see Asset Regeneration Program works occurring throughout 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Project benefits

The Asset Regeneration Program reflects Parks Victoria's commitment to ensure that the natural and built environments are preserved, protected and safe for all Victorians to visit.

These works are being delivered through the Victorian Government’s $24.76 million Asset Regeneration Program.

The Project

We are repairing, replacing, or removing infrastructure across the Parks Victoria estate on the basis of safety, compliance and visitor experience. Each asset within this program will need to work to its own timeframe based on planning approvals and design complexity.
